About Achieve
Hi, I'm Kevin Sundin. I'm a Performance Consultant providing services to students, athletes, adults, and families. For the past 10 years, I've been lucky enough to work with families and athletes from all around the world. I've helped thousands of families achieve peak performance through executive functioning and mindset systems from the court to the classroom.
I specialize in work with ADHD populations and anxiety disorders. I help families create structures, learn skills, and carry out intentional plans through carefully designed consultations. As an ADHD specialist, I follow the American Academy of Pediatrics guidelines for all treatment plans.
My Approach
I equip families with tools needed to build long term success in life, also known as executive functioning skills. In my 1 to 1 sessions, I bring together performance psychology methods and the concept of flow, the highly absorbed state where challenge meets skill, to help clients build structure, focus, and sustainable productivity while decreasing anxiety symptoms.
My approach with parents is a specialized support system rooted deeply in the principles of Yale's SPACE treatment program within the Yale Child Study Center. I am a verified provider in SPACE, a program founded by Dr. Eli Lebowitz, director of the Anxiety Disorders Program at Yale. In a world of heightened anxiety and lowered resilience within our student populations, SPACE treats students through carefully decreased parent/caretaker accommodation and increased systems of support.
With a background and love for athletics, I also specialize in adapting these principles to support performance in sports, studies, and day to day life. I deliver tailored executive functioning tools designed to boost planning, socializing, focus, emotional regulation, and decision-making.
Background & Collaborations
Before all this, I was a corporate English teacher specializing in positions of leadership. This journey took me to Europe where I worked with companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Mercedes Benz, Skype, and even local ministries and law enforcement in Prague, Czech Republic. I continue to visit Prague every year, as I consider it my second home.
In 2018, I returned to the beautiful beaches of my hometown, Santa Monica, to begin working with grade school populations as a classroom teacher. I was a teacher in Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, and Culver City. I created English, History, and SEL curriculum and had the privilege to work with PK-6th grade students. During my time as a teacher, I spent a significant amount of time on neurodiverse campuses understanding the needs of ADHD students. I trained as a specialist with Sarah Ward M.S., CCC/SLP, Lynn Lyons, LICSW, Dr. Camilo Ortiz, Ryan Wexelblatt, LCSW, & Mike McLeod, M.A. I had the unique experience of applying Executive Functioning tools directly into classrooms to see what truly works and what doesn’t.
My work has been recognized by the Kevin Love Fund, where I served on the National Educator Council for three years. In 2025, I received their Educator Award, presented at a UCLA Men's Basketball game. I continue to be an active Ambassador for the Kevin Love Fund.
Personal Life
These days, I reside in the beautiful state of Tennessee with my wonderful wife, Brooke Sundin. Both California natives, I am a proud Alum of Loyola Marymount University and Brooke of UC Santa Barbara. Brooke is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and owns the Los Angeles based practice, Light Minds Child & Family Therapy. Together, we love to collaborate in all things wellness while keeping up with the newest up to date studies and practices. We can often be found out chasing a workout, enjoying live music, visiting a favorite restaurant, or at home planning our next travel adventure.
Whether you're navigating ADHD, managing anxiety, or chasing a bigger goal, I'm here to help you get there.
